National Association for Sustainable Mobility (ANMS) is the main multi-sectoral organisation which acts as an interlocutor between public administrations and companies linked to any of the key sectors for sustainable mobility:

  • Mobility and Transport – Transport has a deep impact in the sustainable development framework, due to, environmental pressures, social and economic effect and sectors interrelations. this sector has been experiencing a continuous growth over the last few years and its foreseeable increase, makes achieving sustainable transport a strategic priority for ANMS.
  • Infrastructures – Existing infrastructures is estimated to be associated with more than 60% of green house gas emissions. At the ANMS, we work to mark infrastructures compatible with social and environmental objectives. Mainly, avoiding environmental pollution and water contamination and promoting energy efficiency and ensuring access to renewable or low-carbon energy. It also includes, infrastructures that support the preservation and sustainability of natural resources and contribute to the improvement of quality life and well being of people.
  • Environment – The environment protection is the main thrust of ANMS. Basic natural resources and environments must be managed in a sustainable way to satisfy the population’s food demand and other environmental, social and economic needs. Climate change, the increasing water scarcity and conflicts over resources access are all the elements that pose the environmental sustainability challenges and for the National Association for Sustainable Mobility works.
  • Renewable Energies – The National Energy and Climate Plan (NECPs) 2021-2030: defines the objectives of reducing greenhouse emissions, renewable energy penetration and energy efficiency. It determines the action lines and the path that, according to the models used, is the most appropriate and efficient way to maximise economy, employment, health and the environment opportunities and benefits; minimising costs and upholding the adjustment needed by the most, CO2-intensive sectors. ANMS works to create a close link between renewables energy and sustainable mobility.
  • Technology – Environmental sustainability, one of the basic pillars of the European Union energy policy, requires a continuous reform of the production and consumption resources in order to decrease the environmental impact. In this sense, the new technologies related to Industry 4.0, including Big Data, robotics, simulation, interconnectivity, cybersecurity, and cloud computing are clear examples of how to approach the environment impact through digital optimisation.
  • Education – ANMS (National Association for Sustainable Mobility) interacts with the educational community, working closely with prestigious universities in the future professionals training and sustainable mobility leaders. In addition, it encourages RD&I in universities. The association enables the technology transfer between the universities and the companies.
