  • Certification and Training – With over 150 specialist consultants and trainers, working in more than 30 countries, across 5 continents, SMMT Industry Forum has proudly delivered well over 500 consultancy programmes and trained close to 30,000 manufacturing professionals. Our Quality Management Division (QMD) is a community of practice which directly supports UK quality professionals, ensuring standards are effectively implemented and improving competitive performance.
  • Funding and Support – The UK government is frequently reviewing and creating various initiatives to support R&D, business growth, low carbon, and business efficiency improvements. SMMT has created a digital Funding and Support Guide to capture and provide members with information about current and future schemes and their availability.
  • International Services – SMMT International helps UK automotive companies to trade overseas and increase their presence in international markets.
  • Safe Harbour – Safe Harbour is an initiative SMMT has developed specifically to support automotive suppliers impacted by COVID-19.It provides a mechanism which suppliers can use to bring their customers and stakeholders together to discuss how they collectively can support and address some of the challenges or issues they may have as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
