Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS)
Advanced driver-assistance systems are technologies that assist drivers with tasks such as parking and driving. Advanced driver-assistance systems have different levels of assistance, with basic levels being functions such as adaptive cruise control or emergency brake assist. These systems use internal and external cameras, sensors, mapping tools, radar lidar and sonar.

Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS)
A driver monitoring system (DMS) is a vehicle safety system that monitors a driver's level of alertness and issues a warning if the driver shows signs of, for example, drowsiness or inattention by taking the eyes off the road. Such a system uses a camera in the vehicle's steering column that tracks the driver's face.
