The SUSTAINera Remanufactured parts portfolio extends its offering beyond traditional engines to include electric and hybrid vehicles, launching product extensions for the eDCT automatic gearbox, EDC Air Conditioning Compressor, and wider coverage on High Voltage Batteries (HVB).

A first-to-market solution: SUSTAINera becomes the first to introduce a Remanufactured NOx Sensor to the global market, reinforcing its leadership in Circular Economy innovation.
Automechanika Frankfurt is the ideal stage to present the latest products and the full range of SUSTAINera solutions, engaging with the international aftermarket community.
AMSTERDAM, 3 September 2026 – SUSTAINera — the Stellantis division dedicated to Circular Economy initiatives — today announced a significant expansion of its remanufactured parts portfolio, extending worldwide the aftermarket offer to electric and hybrid vehicles and introducing NOx sensor – device that measures the amount of nitrogen oxides and oxygen in a vehicle’s exhaust gases – as a new product in the range and first-to-market. The new solutions will be showcased for the first time at Automechanika Frankfurt 2026, one of the world’s leading events for the automotive aftermarket industry.
Within the SUSTAINera 4R strategy (Reman, Repair, Reuse, Recycle), Remanufacturing plays a central role, as it helps customers and repairers meet growing needs for affordable and sustainable aftermarket solutions with no compromise on quality. All the parts are restored to OEM specifications, with the same performance and warranty as genuine MOPAR parts – while reducing environmental impact by saving up to 80% raw materials and enabling up to 40% of non-emitted CO₂ compared to new parts*, supporting a more resource-efficient approach to mobility.
Expanding The EV And Hybrid Remanufacturing Portfolio
To better address evolving customer needs, SUSTAINera is launching key product extensions worldwide through a new REMAN lineup designed to support the electric and hybrid transition, featuring:
- eDCT (Electrified Double Clutch Transmission): The automatic transmission portfolio is officially extended to cover Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicles (MHEV) transmissions. The eDCT gearbox enables a vehicle to reach the desired speed by using a double clutch which engages the gears. Each remanufactured unit undergoes rigorous testing and validation to ensure OEM-level performance and reliability.
- EDC Compressor (Electrically Driven Compressor): An essential component of the air conditioning system, the EDC Compressor enables cold air to be produced in the passenger compartment. The remanufacturing process involves systematic replacement of wear parts, dimensional checks, and rigorous leak and performance tests in accordance with greenhouse gas regulations. This launch marks a vital extension of the Battery Electric Vehicles’ parts portfolio, whereas the REMAN offer for this component was previously exclusive to ICE (Internal Combustion Engines) models.
- High Voltage Batteries (HVB): Most Stellantis Battery Electric Vehicles and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles are now covered with an aftersales offer of Remanufactured High Voltage Batteries.
This strategic expansion supports the transition towards a more sustainable mobility model.
A First-To-Market Addition To The Global Portfolio
In addition to the electric and hybrid vehicle portfolio expansion, SUSTAINera continues to enhance its broader REMAN range for traditional powertrains with a major industry milestone officially launching a Remanufactured NOx Sensor worldwide. It positions SUSTAINera as a pioneer in the remanufacturing of this component and further highlights the strength of its partnership with Valeo. Following the successful launch of the industry’s first remanufactured LED headlamp in 2025, the collaboration once again delivers an innovative first-to-market solution that combines sustainability, affordability, and quality.
The NOx sensor plays a vital role in maintaining engine efficiency and emissions performance. SUSTAINera’s remanufactured NOx sensor ensures OEM-level quality thanks to a new probe and precise calibration in accordance with OEM specifications and procedures.
Meet SUSTAINera At Automechanika Frankfurt 2026
These latest product launches – together with new developments across SUSTAINera’s Recycle portfolio through the co-branded recycled oil TotalEnergies Quartz EV3R MOPAR SUSTAINera, made from 100% regenerated base oil- will be showcased at Automechanika Frankfurt 2026, from September 8 to 12 at Messe Frankfurt, Germany. SUSTAINera will host a dedicated exhibition area, as part of Stellantis Parts & Services’s presence at the leading international trade fair for the automotive aftermarket. The idea is to illustrate how Circular Economy solutions can help repairers, aftermarket professionals, distributors and customers meet evolving market needs by combining sustainability, quality and affordability, paving the way for a new approach to vehicle maintenance and repair.
Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the full product and services range across the 4R proposition – remanufactured, repaired, reused and recycled products – and explore how they are becoming an increasingly strategic component of the aftermarket ecosystem.
Located at Hall 9.0, Stand F84-E84 within the Stellantis booth was designed as a live workshop environment, allowing visitors to experience Stellantis’ integrated 360° aftermarket approach. The SUSTAINera area will as well spotlight the value of extending parts and vehicle lifespan through an artistic installation titled “The Tree of life…extension”, displaying the journey of transformation and renewal of parts and the powerful message that nothing valuable should be wasted.
