Four exciting days for Maserati in Modena, to this day the cradle of its iconic cars. The MCPURA super sports car, in the Ai Aqua Rainbow Fuoriserie colour, went on display in the Courtyard of the Military Academy, with the “Trident Talks” enlivening the historic plant.  All in the name of the double anniversary: 100 years of the Trident and of the brand’s first sporting victoryMotor Valley Top Table

Modena, 3 June 2026 – Maserati’s participation in the eighth edition of Motor Valley Fest, the event that transforms Modena into the world capital of automotive excellence, has ended as a resounding success. With a comprehensive, engaging presence, the longest-standing brand in Motor Valley brought the city to life, confirming its position as one of the true leading lights of the festival in Emilia. Maserati’s participation in the event also forms part of the schedule for the Year of the Trident, celebrating the centenary of both the iconic logo and Maserati’s first sporting victory, taken by Alfieri Maserati in the legendary Tipo 26 at the 1926 Targa Florio.

Visitors focused their attention on the MCPURA super sports car in the refined Ai Aqua Rainbow colour, produced by Maserati Fuoriserie. Put on show in the evocative Courtyard at the Modena Military Academy, its sculptural beauty was emphasised by an iridescent blue with pearlescent reflections; in the sunlight, it breaks down as if from a prism, providing the public with a memorable visual experience that testified to the brand’s ability to create an authentic work of art. One of the cars on display in Piazza Roma was an iconic Ghibli from the late 1960s.

This year’s event began with the customary opening talk, focusing on “Global Trends, New Frontiers and Human Responsibility”. Featuring Santo Ficili – Alfa Romeo CEO and Maserati COO – it explored some of the main drivers of evolution in the Motor Valley through a dedicated discussion. The “Heritage & Classic Cars – the timeless value of excellence” session, with Cristiano Fiorio, Maserati Chief Marketing Officer and BOTTEGAFUORISERIE General Manager, highlighted the development of the Classiche world, straddling tradition and innovation. Next came Head of Maserati Corse Vincent Biard’s “The Future of Racing”, viewing motorsport as a technology workshop concentrating on electrification, new materials and aerodynamics. “Customer Experience – from product to emotion” – a panel led by Giuseppe Galassi, Head of Customer Satisfaction Maserati and Alfa Romeo – emphasised the role of data, design and artificial intelligence in the creation of increasingly personalised experiences. Finally, the Talent Talk with Alessandra Bisol, Maserati Human Resource Business Partner and Alessandro Lanzardo, Maserati Sports Cars Line Manager, set out the link between Maserati, the Modena area and the iconic models that express the brand’s DNA.

The four-day event also offered the opportunity to open the doors of the historic Modena plant – the cradle of the GranTurismo, GranCabrio, MCPURA and GT2 Stradale models – with the “Trident Talks”: two exclusive events in the Maserati showroom, moderated by anchorwoman Tiziana Fait.

The first event in particular, held on 28 May in the Maserati showroom, brought together four voices around the theme of “100 Years of the Trident”, who set it out from diverse yet complementary perspectives. The guests on stage were Cristiano Fiorio, Maserati Chief Marketing Officer and BOTTEGAFUORISERIE General Manager; Klaus Busse, Head of Maserati Design; Cristiano Bolzoni, Head of Maserati Classiche; and Matteo Panini, Owner of the Umberto Panini Collection. The Trident’s history was set out not only as a nostalgic memory but as a living force that continues to guide every design choice, every detail of personalisation and every gesture of conservation, projecting the Maserati legend with renewed ambition towards its next hundred years.

The following day, the second “Trident Talk” took place, featuring Massimo Bottura, chef at Osteria Francescana and Brand Ambassador for the Trident; Ettore Maserati, Ettore’s grandson and owner of the MC20 “Maserati for Maserati”; Davide Baldini and Camilla Rostagno, Head of Fuoriserie and Head of Bottega respectively. The discussion centred on the BOTTEGAFUORISERIE project in its deepest essence: an ideal synthesis between precision engineering and Italian artisanship, between customers’ creative freedom and the rigour of the Centro Stile, between materials – leather, metals, carbon fibre – and vision. Four authoritative voices gave the public the full measure of the meaning of tailor-made Italian luxury the Maserati way.

On the same day, the Maserati Fuoriserie team delivered to its customers Alessandra Perani and Stefano Brasini a bespoke Maserati Grecale Trofeo, inspired by the Tributo Il Bruciato.

Santo Ficili, Alfa Romeo CEO and Maserati COO, stated:

Motor Valley is the most authentic expression of Made in Italy excellence, in which artisanship, beauty and innovation come together. It is always an honour to take part in Motor Valley Fest, held in this region that forms the basis for our roots and our unique vision of performance and design. Our bond with Modena in particular is unbreakable and continues both to guide our commitment to this community and to generate new opportunities for growth for the local area and its inhabitants”. We provided tangible proof late last year, when we brought production of the GranTurismo and GranCabrio back to the historic plant on Viale Ciro Menotti. In such a symbolic year for us, Maserati is also celebrating its 112 years of history and, at the same time, 100 years of the iconic Trident, a symbol of our identity and the passion that has inspired the brand around the world for over a century. We will continue to look to the future with an eye above all on customers, on the women and men of Maserati, on our dealer network and on all the stakeholders, with all of whom we grow on a daily basis with a great sense of responsibility towards this local area. We do not fear change: we embrace it with courage, strengthened by the creativity, technology and Italian know-how that make us stand out all over the world
