Valeo will present technologies for heavy-duty trucks and light commercial vehicles at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hanover from 14–20 September.
The company will focus on electrification, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), software-defined vehicle technologies and solutions for last-mile delivery.
This focus responds to the increased demand for commercial vehicle technologies as manufacturers respond to safety requirements, emissions targets and the development of autonomous driving.
Valeo’s electrification portfolio includes the EDC-120 electric compressor with integrated inverter, designed for electric buses and trucks, as well as heat pumps, high-voltage coolant heaters, inverters, onboard chargers and e-propulsion systems.
For automated driving, Valeo will showcase sensor systems, LiDAR and camera cleaning technologies and scalable computing platforms. Its Valeo Smart Safety 360 solution is designed for trucks, while the company is also presenting ADAS domain controllers and central computing systems.
The company’s Valeo anSWer software portfolio covers ADAS and parking functions, AI-based perception and decision-making, digital services and cloud-based functions for software-defined trucks.
Safety technologies on display will include Adaptive Driving Beam lighting, which adjusts high-beam illumination around other road users, and a Driver Monitoring System designed to detect driver drowsiness and distraction. Valeo said the system supports compliance with GSR II and NCAP 2026 requirements.
The company will also highlight its AquaBlade wiper system, lighting and signalling products, cabin heating and air conditioning systems, interior lighting and a 21.6-inch 4K curved display.
Beyond conventional commercial vehicles, Valeo will present Cyclee, its electric powertrain offering for cargo and last-mile delivery. The GO7 Gen4 Drive Unit combines a 48V motor with a seven-speed automatic gearbox, providing up to 1,000W of peak power and 130Nm of torque.
Valeo will also promote its remanufacturing programme, which covers more than 6,000 aftermarket references across starters and alternators, brake calipers, air conditioning compressors and transmission components. The programme has been expanded to electronic and electrification components, including NOx sensors and inverters.
Valeo Chief Sales and Business Development Officer Detlef Juerss will speak at the IAA Transportation Main Stage on 15 September from 17:30 to 17:45 as part of a session on the future of autonomous transport.
