Advanced driver-assistance systems are technologies that assist drivers with tasks such as parking and driving. Advanced driver-assistance systems have different levels of assistance, with basic levels being functions such as adaptive cruise control or emergency brake assist. This category covers the software and middleware that determine how a vehicle moves through its environment. That includes route and trajectory planning, behaviour prediction, obstacle avoidance and decision logic, delivered as embedded software, cloud-based development tools or open-source frameworks for ADAS and autonomous vehicle programmes.

Products and services in this category include cameras, lidar, radar and ultrasonic sensors, alongside the software that combines their data into a unified environmental model.
