For 2022, InnoTrans has announced the launch of a Mobility+ exhibition focussed on supplementary mobility solutions.

InnoTrans is the world’s leading trade fair for transport technology and will take place in Berlin from 20 to 23 September 2022. The event hosts exhibitions focused on railway technology, railway infrastructure, public transport, interiors and tunnel construction.

With the introduction of the new Mobility+ exhibition, InnoTrans is now creating a platform for supplementary mobility services, recognising that future mobility should be flexible, connected and intermodal. The new Mobility+ segment will therefore focus on incorporating ride hailing as well as e-scooter and bicycle hire with public transport.

InnoTrans will be held on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds from 20 to 23 September 2022
Kerstin Schulz, Director of InnoTrans said:

“This is where companies exhibiting new mobility services can meet domestic and international transport companies, transport networks and administrations, and display their intermodal concepts and systems to the industry.”

The new exhibition will highlight products and services such as shared mobility solutions, mobility apps, booking and payment functions, on-demand transit systems and flying drones.

Exhibitors will include Door2door, Via Transportation, DB Connect, ioki, CleverShuttle, BestMile and Optibus.

Bruno Ginnuth, CEO and Co-founder of CleverShuttle said:

“At InnoTrans 2022 we look forward to offering an insight into the operational practicability of on-demand solutions in public transport, and together with leading industry players to discussing how we can sensibly integrate new mobility services into public transit systems, in order to make convenient mobility services available anywhere at any time.”

Throughout the event, lectures will be held at the Mobility+ Corner in Hall 7.1c. These talks will focus on topics such as smart charging infrastructures, digital passenger data surveys and the future of public transport.

InnoTrans attendees will also be able to experience connected mobility first hand, as smaller vehicles such as bicycles and e-scooters will be available for first and last mile transport to and from the event grounds and within Berlin city centre.
