As the pioneer of urban air mobility (UAM), Volocopter has set itself a two-stage mission: not only does it want to develop future-forward eVTOL passenger aircraft and cargo drones, it also aspires to present them as part of a fully integrated digital platform – a platform it lovingly refers to as the VoloIQ.
This holistic UAM approach that is digitally backed by the VoloIQ will allow Volocopter, its passengers, other operators, and third parties to manage all aspects of future UAM journeys from under one roof. The VoloIQ is set to replace close to 20 legacy systems, and that’s just one of the neat features it promises.
