Doroni Aerospace has unveiled its H1-X showroom model during a launch event at its headquarters, offering a first public view of its personal electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft.
The ‘Soul of the Sky’ event brought together media, investors and guests to view the full-scale engineering model and engage with the aircraft’s systems. Attendees were able to test elements of the human-machine interface and a flight simulation environment designed to demonstrate how the vehicle may be operated.

The H1-X is being developed as a privately operated aircraft rather than an air taxi, reflecting a segment of the eVTOL market focused on individual ownership and use. The design prioritises ease of operation, safety and suitability for urban and suburban environments.
Doron Merdinger, CEO and Founder of Doroni Aerospace said:The unveiling of the H1-X marks a major step toward making personal flight a practical reality. The idea of a flying car has always felt like science fiction. We’re showing what it actually looks like in the real world and fundamentally changing how people move.
The aircraft features a tandem wing configuration and uses electric ducted fan propulsion. This approach is intended to support stable flight characteristics while reducing external noise compared with conventional rotor-based systems.
A central component of the H1-X is the company’s proprietary SOUL AI Digital Copilot, an onboard assistance system designed to support navigation, flight control and real-time decision-making. The system forms part of a broader effort to simplify piloting requirements and expand accessibility to users without extensive aviation experience.
During the event, participants were able to interact with the interface directly, providing an early indication of how users may engage with the system in practice.
Doroni Aerospace is continuing development work on the H1-X, with initial customer deliveries currently planned for 2028. The programme remains subject to further testing and regulatory processes as the company moves towards commercial availability.
