Autonomous flight in cities is coming very soon – we are working hard to make sure of it!
At Volocopter we have been setting the standard for Urban Air Mobility since 2011 – with over 1,000 test flights. In the project voloCHRIS, we have been working together to foster acceptance of Autonomous Air Taxis by various stakeholders.
Thanks to the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) we worked on a concept with key enablers for safe autonomous flight. Within only 5 months, we implemented a demonstrator comprising key passenger considerations, automated procedures, and safe flight maneuvers, paving the way towards safe autonomous flight.
