Latin American Cities and Municipalities Will Have A Major Presence at Global Mobility Call
At the event, which will be held from 12 to 14 September at IFEMA MADRID, the main Latin American associations of municipalities and cities will be able to learn about new initiatives and projects for public-private collaboration and business in sustainable mobility.
Global Mobility Call will host a major gathering of authorities and representatives of municipalities and cities from Latin American countries at the leading cross-cutting platform of the mobility ecosystem, to share knowledge and experiences, and access new solutions, plans, initiatives and projects for public-private collaboration and business.
The second Global Mobility Call, which will be held from 12 to 14 September at the Recinto Ferial IFEMA MADRID, will include an area for cities and territories, both national and international, for which this event is a useful scenario for their sphere of action, with new approaches to technological innovation, new forms of transport, services, funding opportunities and regulations.
For this reason, the main Latin American associations such as the Association of Municipalities of Chile (AMUCH), the Colombian Association of Capital Cities (ASOCAPITALES) and the National Federation of Municipalities of Mexico (FENAMM), among others, will take part in the second Global Mobility Call. Specifically, they will be able to share their experiences in sustainable mobility, their projects for low-emission zones, and learn about the plans and projects that other public and private agents will present in this second GMC event, in addition to accessing investment opportunities.
Association of Municipalities of Chile – AMUCH
The Association arose from the need to represent and defend the interests of Chile’s municipalities and has more than 100 associated municipalities. Faced with the changes and challenges of society, the organisation promotes the construction of cohesion to improve the quality of life of the residents that the municipalities represent. It also focuses on the development of digital administration and services and cybersecurity.
Colombian Association of Capital Cities – ASOCAPITALES
The association aims to work on the preparation, consolidation and management of a common agenda built from the Colombian territories, and consisting of issues of national, regional and local scope and interest. It works mainly on generating spaces for dialogue, integration, agreement and collaboration between municipal and national authorities.
National Federation of Municipalities of Mexico – FENAMM
The Federation brings together municipal presidents, trustees, councillors and public servants from Mexico’s municipalities and its mission is to promote municipal strengthening. It encourages the building of synergies with companies and specialised organisations, the development of innovative municipal initiatives, and a network of high-level international alliances.
