More than 20 Spanish cities rely on Kapsch TrafficCom for mobility management and maintenance.

Kapsch TrafficCom, a global provider of traffic management solutions, is proud to announce that it has been awarded a significant contract for the maintenance of the traffic management system of the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife in Spain.

Kapsch has won a three-year contract worth EUR 2.4 million per year

The company will manage the city’s mobility services and its maintenance in a comprehensive manner. The Santa Cruz de Tenerife project has been valued by the city council at EUR 2.4 million per year, for the next three years and two years of optional extension.

The contract involves the operation of the city’s Mobility Centre, traffic engineering and analysis of new solutions to improve mobility in the city. The City Council aims to ensure that all modes of mobility can coexist in the city for all road users: pedestrians, cyclists and individual mobility vehicles. With this contract, the City Council wants to deepen its strategies and policies for safe, inclusive, sustainable, connected and technological mobility.
