Beam Mobility and Neuron Mobility have signed a preliminary agreement in preparation for a merger to solidify their micromobility offerings within the Asia-Pacific.
The merging of the two companies is expected to be completed within 60 days (subject to customary closing conditions).

Once combined, the company will provide operations across more than 100 cities and retain both the Beam and Neuron brands, with each deploying in their strongest respective market (Neuron in Australia & Canada, Beam in South Korea, Southeast Asia and Turkey).
The combined company will be lead by soon-to-be Chairman and Global CEO, Zachary Wang, who has been serving as co-founder and CEO of Neuron Mobility. He will be supported by Beam Mobility co-founder and CEO, Alan Jiang, who will become CEO of Asia.
Beam’s President and fellow co-founder, Deb Gangopadhyay, is poised to become a strategic advistor.
