Vessev has announced that its VS–9 electric hydrofoiling vessel will begin offering guest transportation at Finn Lough, a luxury eco resort in Northern Ireland, in 2026.

The nine-metre catamaran will provide guests transport both to and from their accommodation, as well as offer trips around the Lough itself.

The vessel was chosen by co-owner of Finn Lough, Michael Beare, with the decision rendering the resort as the first luxury hospitality destination within Europe to offer services on an electric hydrofoiling vessel.

Co-owner of Finn Lough, Michael Beare said:

The road journey... it’s just a road that you've seen a million times before. But when you go by boat, you get all the nuances of the landscape.

You get to see what someone doing that journey a hundred years ago saw. And the stories have much more resonance when you do it like that.
