AECOM has been awarded a 27 million USD environmental generalist services contract by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) District 4.

The contract, which is the largest AECOM has yet been awarded by Caltrans, tasks the company with the provision of a plethora of environmental services for transport projects across Marin, Sonoma, Napa and Solano county within the North San Francisco Bay Area.

The contract will task AECOM with the overseeing of a variety of transportation projects in the North San Francisco Bay Area

As part of the agreement, AECOM will provide CEQA/NEPA impact assessments, technical studies on natural resources, sea level rise, air quality, noise & local communities, regulatory permitting, construction compliance monitoring, mitigation support and community outreach & engagement.

Chosen for AECOM’s team are a selection of local small and disadvantaged business enterprises subconsultants, the inclusion of which the company hopes will help to bolster economic development throughout the region.
