Imperium Drive has launched its Fetch car rental service in Milton Keynes, using remote driving technology to deliver vehicles to customers without an onboard driver.

Fetch provides car rental services for a few minutes, hours or an entire day via the company’s app.

Once an order is placed, the vehicle is conveniently delivered to the customer using remote driving technology. This allows Imperium Drive to control a vehicle from anywhere with 4G coverage.

To end the booking, the customer then parks the car and Imperium Drive will once again take control remotely.

The Fetch electric vehicles used for this service are equipped with AI learning capabilities, laying the groundwork for future deployment of fully self-driving vehicles.
