This summer, Uber Boat is introducing a range of new services in Europe to enhance tourist mobility options.

Starting in August, Uber Yacht will be available in Ibiza. This service allows users to pre-book a private yacht for the day via the Uber app. Departing daily from Ibiza Town Marina at 12pm, the Uber Yacht can accommodate groups of up to eight people and is priced at 1,600 EUR. The eight-hour trip includes a personal skipper, a bottle of champagne, and locally sourced snacks, with transfers to and from the yacht included.

In July, Uber will launch a new water transport service in Venice. Users will be able to summon a ‘Limo Boat’ on-demand through the Uber app to navigate the Venetian Lagoon. The service, priced from 120 EUR per trip, can accommodate up to six people and will be available daily from 8am to 8pm.

Uber Boat will also expand in Greece later in July, with services extending from Mykonos to Athens, Corfu, and Santorini. This service will enable visitors to travel to various destinations such as beach clubs and remote coves.

In Paris, visitors can book an all-electric boat for an Uber Cruise, a one-hour private tour on the river Seine. This service will provide views of landmarks such as Notre Dame, the Louvre, and the Eiffel Tower.

These new services respond to the increased demand for Uber’s mobility options in European tourist hotspots.

Data from summer 2023 indicates that international usage of Uber’s services rose by up to 55% in regions like Greece and Spain. Over 6.5 million international customers used the Uber app in Europe’s popular destinations last summer, with more than 800,000 people opening the app in Ibiza alone in the past 12 months.
