TIER-Dott has announced that it will now operate solely under the Dott brand to provide shared micromobility services in Europe and the Middle East.

Over the coming weeks, all TIER vehicles will be rebranded with the Dott logo, and users will be directed to the Dott app. Through this single app, users will have access to a fleet of 250,000 electric scooters and e-bikes across 427 cities.

This decision follows the merger of TIER and Dott earlier in 2024, which created a unified micromobility company.

To simplify the service, the TIER-Dott team have now opted to combine their operations under one app and brand.

After successful trials in Spain, Germany, and France, the company will complete the transition to Dott across all cities by early 2025.

In cities where TIER is currently active, the transition to Dott will be managed in collaboration with local Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) systems, ensuring a smooth experience for both users and cities.

Henri Moissinac, CEO TIER-Dott, said:

We are thrilled to announce that all TIER and Dott vehicles will be available in one app: Dott. This will enable tens of million users to ride with us in 427 cities in an efficient and safe way. We’re here to change mobility for good, together with the cities, their citizens, and stakeholders and complement the public transport systems at a local level and in a sustainable way.

During the transition, TIER users are being contacted with information on how to switch to the Dott app.

The rebranding of TIER vehicles will be handled by local teams, with blue stickers marking the transition to Dott. All operational tasks, including battery replacements and vehicle maintenance, will be managed by the combined TIER-Dott team.
