Micromobility operator, TIER Mobility is deploying its E-bike 3 model for the first time in London, UK.

The E-bike 3 offers several additional features to provide an enhanced rider experience compared to TIER’s previous model.

In addition, the new vehicle has been designed to facilitate operations for TIER’s operational team.

TIER states that the updated electric motor delivers a smoother ride, and the upgraded battery pack offers a greater range and can be more easily swapped by TIER employees.

The new battery pack is also compatible with the TIER 6 e-scooter, so that a single battery can be used across the operator’s entire fleet once all vehicles have been upgraded.

In addition, the new model’s design includes orange highlighting on the most commonly used touchpoints such as the kickstand and seat adjustor to improve their visibility and make the vehicle easier to use.

Fred Jones, VP and Regional General Manager for Northern Europe at TIER said:

The new TIER E-bike 3 is designed to make shared e-bikes more approachable and less intimidating, especially to new users, by highlighting the parts of the bike they can adjust and touch to make their ride comfortable and safe.

With the E-bike 3 we are also increasing the number of bikes we have on the streets of London making it easier than ever to find a Tier bike and catering to the ever-increasing demand for our e-bike service across London.
