New Lightweight Pure Flux One Electric Bike Launches – Available for Pre-order!
We’re delighted to share the amazing news of the arrival of the Pure Flux One, our first new, ground-breaking electric bike! It’s available to pre-order now, online or in your local Pure Electric store.
Flux One provides a high quality, lightweight, low-cost entry point for anyone looking for a simple and elegant electric bike, with all the brilliant benefits of e-biking without many of the common downsides.
Revolutionary Simplicity
Pure Flux One will reset your expectations, recapturing the simple joy and fun of cycling without the fuss or price tag associated with over-complicated urban e-bike designs.
Designed around a low-wear, low-maintenance, oil- and rust-free Gates Carbon Drive, a powerful rear hub motor and a fast-charging bottle-style battery system, Flux One provides the easiest and most intuitive e-bike riding experience around. It weighs just 17.5kg, making it the lightest e-bike in its class and everyday riding more fun and easier than ever!
The powerful rear hub motor enables you to accelerate quickly and confidently off the line in a start-stop city environment and makes hills easy to pedal up. It features three easy-to-understand settings that deliver full power assistance up to 15, 20 or 25km/h, while the low-friction design means you can pedal completely naturally and easily even beyond the maximum assisted speed of 25km/h.
E-bikes are normally much heavier than non-electric bikes, but we’ve specially selected a bottle-style battery to minimise the trade-off between electric power and weight. It tips the scales at just 1.35kg, making it easy to carry away in a backpack to a convenient charge point, yet it features a large 252Wh capacity which, in normal, everyday conditions can deliver up to 40km of assisted range.
Ideal for the daily commute, a leisure ride or to carry out some daily errands, you can recharge it in five hours, and achieve 80% charge in just three hours!
The battery and electronic components are completely waterproof too, just like the motor, so come rain or shine you can ride on smooth asphalt or potholed tarmac with ease, thanks to the heat-treated aluminium frame, which is strong, durable, rust-resistant, and easily able to withstand everyday bumps and scrapes.
Leaving No Stone Unturned!
Importantly for everyone who wants to make the most out of their Pure Flux One, it rides incredibly smoothly, with a rider position that maximises comfort without sacrificing efficiency or speed. You’ll want to ride it day after day!
This attention to rider comfort spreads to the all-important touchpoints – places where ordinary e-bike brands can cut corners. With ergonomic rubber handlebar grips, sore hands are a thing of the past, and the brake levers are also coated in a textured grip too, reducing finger slip in the wet while increasing control. Meanwhile, a KNUS saddle provides a comfortable place to sit while protecting you from soreness.
The sturdy, reliable wheels are fitted with high quality Maxxis Overdrive Excel tyres. Grippy yet fast rolling in both wet and dry weather, they’re true all-rounders and perfect for an everyday rider’s needs.
Your Safety First
When you ride Flux One, we know you want to feel safe. So we’ve included disc brakes for powerful stopping force whatever the weather. Disc brakes offer much improved, more reliable performance in wet weather compared to rim brakes.
Flux One also features some cool high-visibility reflective markers on the frame and wheels to make you more visible to other road users when the light fades. By day, Flux One appears sleek and stylish, but by night the markers cause the bike to effectively light up when a light is shined on it!
Plus, the markers on the wheels are cleverly positioned around the wheel rim, creating a eye-catching, spinning visual cue, boosting visibility and safety even further. Very cool.
At launch, Pure Flux One will retail at just £999, and is available for pre-order exclusively online and in Pure Electric stores nationwide.
