Nuro is announcing the expansion of its business model to include licensing its advanced AI-driven autonomy platform, the Nuro Driver™, to automotive OEMs and mobility providers.

Through this offering, the company hopes to accelerate the adoption of autonomous technology in the transportation industry.

The Nuro Driver

The Nuro Driver is a state-of-the-art autonomous driving system powered by NVIDIA DRIVE Thor and Arm Neoverse technology.

The system combines high-grade automotive hardware with AI-driven self-driving software, enabling vehicles to operate up to Level 4 autonomy.

Alongside the Nuro Driver, the company is now also introducing the Nuro AI Platform, a suite of scalable developer tools designed to support AI development and validation, allowing for flexible integration and customisation by OEMs and mobility platforms.

Autonomous Driving

Nuro’s shift toward licensing its autonomy platform builds upon its success in the field of autonomous vehicles.

With over one million autonomous miles logged across its research and development fleet, Nuro has experienced zero at-fault incidents.

Jiajun Zhu, Nuro’s co-founder and CEO said:

It's not a question of if, but when L4 autonomy will become widespread. We believe Nuro is positioned to be a major contributor to this autonomous future where people and goods mobility are free-flowing, representing a significant increase in the quality of life for everyone,

This new licensing model offers automotive OEMs and mobility providers access to Nuro’s independently developed and road-proven platform.
