Through its partnership with Mobileye, Lyft plans to enable vehicles equipped with Mobileye Drive technology to be “Lyft-ready,” allowing both small and large fleet operators to seamlessly connect with Lyft’s extensive network of riders.

The partnership gives AV-equipped vehicles access to Lyft’s platform, making it easier for operators to optimise their AV fleets.

In addition, Lyft is working with May Mobility to deploy autonomous Toyota Sienna minivans in Atlanta, starting in 2025. This fleet will be directly accessible through the Lyft app, giving Atlanta riders the option to select autonomous rides. Lyft and May Mobility plan to expand this service across other markets over time.

Lyft is also collaborating with Nexar to improve AV technology and safety. By combining Lyft’s data with Nexar’s extensive video footage, the two companies aim to provide AV manufacturers with more comprehensive data for research and development.

David Risher, CEO of Lyft said:

We're thrilled to work with Mobileye, May Mobility, and Nexar to build the autonomous future together, with more partnerships to follow.

Lyft's aim is to connect AVs, drivers, riders, and partners to create new opportunities for all. Our rideshare network will continue to evolve as millions of people will have the opportunity to earn billions of dollars whether they choose to drive, put their AVs into service, or both.
