Gogoro is continuing its expansion across Asia by partnering with Globe’s 917Ventures and Ayala Corporation to offer its battery-swapping system in the Philippines.
Initially, the companies intend to focus on introducing a more sustainable alternative to fossil fuel-powered vehicles for last mile deliveries.
This partnership follows a similar initiative to accelerate the electrification of logistics fleets in India, as well prior launches in countries such as China and Singapore.

Through our collaboration with Globe, 917Ventures and Ayala Corporation, we plan to unlock incredible environmental and sustainability benefits and introduce new smart mobility efficiencies for businesses by improving how they manage their fleets and deliveries.
The companies will launch a battery-swapping pilot in Manila in early 2023 using scooters powered by Gogoro’s Swap & Go battery swapping platform.
This system installs a network of battery-swapping stations to enable used batteries to be conveniently exchanged for charged ones.
