Zeus has provided micromobility services in Regensburg for the past three years. To enhance its operations, it has now installed three Zolar solar charging stations in the city, where users can dock e-scooter vehicles to charge between rides.

Damian Young, CEO of Zeus said:

The Zolar stations are a game-changer for the way e-scooters are charged. At Zeus, we are committed to revolutionising urban transportation. This project not only showcases the potential of clean energy but also demonstrates our dedication to providing innovative, eco-friendly options for urban commuters. We are paving the way towards a greener and more sustainable future.

Alongside this launch, Zeus has also introduced its latest e-scooter model, the Z2 to Regensburg.

The Z2 features pneumatic tyres to provide a smooth and comfortable ride on Regensburg’s cobblestone streets. Additionally, it is equipped with a larger battery, offering an extended range between charges.

By combining solar-powered technology with this latest e-scooter design, Zeus hopes to enhance the rollout of its sustainable transportation offerings.
