Future Flight Global (FFG) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to purchase up to 116 Archer Midnight eVTOL aircraft.
This order has a value of up to 580 million USD.
As part of this agreement, Future Flight Global has made an initial deposit, with the MoU setting out nearly 5 million USD in pre-delivery payments.
Future Flight Global was established by key leaders from Titan Aviation, which has over 20 years of experience in operating business jets around the world.
The company plans to deploy eVTOL services in key global markets, including Southeast Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
These vehicles could replace 60–90 minute commutes by car with 10–20 minute electric air taxi flights.
Andrew Cummins, Director of Business Development at Archer said:This new agreement both grows our prospective order book to nearly $6B, and opens up Archer’s global reach to premium international markets. As our first private aviation partner, and with their deep ties in aviation and bold approach, FFG is positioned to be a new leader in modern aviation.
Initially, Future Flight Global will operate select routes within Archer’s planned air taxi service, using Archer’s vertiport infrastructure network.
It then aims to deploy Midnight to provide on-demand transit to high-value clients, such as corporations, hotels, governments and high net-worth individuals.
To realise these plans, the two companies will collaborate on ecosystem development, infrastructure, regulatory engagement and demand generation.
Karan Singh, CEO and Founder of FFG said:The aviation industry is on the cusp of its most exciting revolution in decades. We’re partnering with Archer to provide tailored, flexible aviation services to our top clients in some of the world’s most exciting destinations. Midnight’s versatility makes it well-suited to diverse routes and mission profiles, while also providing a world-class experience and operational efficiency that's attractive to our corporate clients.
