Vehicle Electrification Expo will take place in Birmingham, UK at the NEC (National Exhibition Centre) Birmingham on 29-30 June 2022.

Vehicle Electrification Expo enables automotive manufacturers to look at the latest powertrain solutions to improve the performance, efficiency, safety and sustainability of vehicles including light electric vehicles, passenger cars, commercial vehicles, buses and off-highway industrial vehicles.

The show will bring together the entire supply chain involved in electric and hybrid vehicle development showcasing the very latest technologies for this rapidly growing market. Co-located with Battery Cells and Systems Expo and The Advanced Material Show, the events will attract an expected 300 exhibitors and thousands of attendees searching for solutions for automotive applications.

The UK automotive sector has an £82 billion turnover, with more than 160 countries importing UK-built vehicles. The UK Government recently announced the Road to Zero strategy, with the expectation that by 2040 the majority of new cars and vans sold will be 100% zero-emission. The UK is a centre of excellence for automotive R&D and development with Warwick Manufacturing Group, The Advanced Propulsion Centre, The National Automotive Innovation Campus and the Institute for Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering all a short drive away from Vehicle Electrification Expo’s location in Birmingham. This is in addition to the 18 automotive OEM’s along with the majority of the world’s Formula 1 R&D teams.
