About this event

European Hybrid and EV NVH Summit 2026

The 2nd European Hybrid and EV NVH Summit 2026 takes place on 4–5 November 2026 in Stuttgart, Germany, bringing together engineers and technical specialists from across the electrified vehicle supply chain to tackle the growing complexity of noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) in hybrid and electric platforms.

The summit is organised by ECV International, a conference consulting company that hosts more than 40 high-level international summits annually across Europe, Asia and the Middle East, with a portfolio of over 600 industry events delivered over the past decade.

Who Attends

The summit is designed for senior technical professionals involved in NVH development and integration for electrified vehicles. Confirmed attendee profiles include:

  • Chief NVH Engineers and NVH System Architects
  • Electric Powertrain Integration Managers
  • Technical Experts in Acoustics and Vibration
  • Battery Structural NVH Lead Engineers
  • Sound Quality and Brand Sound Designers
  • Chassis and Suspension NVH Leads
  • Product Managers in NVH Test and Simulation
  • Simulation and Digital Twin Application Engineers

Organisations represented span OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, engineering and simulation service providers, technology startups, research institutions and material and component suppliers. More than 100 NVH professionals from across Europe’s electrified vehicle supply chain are expected to attend. The event is conducted in English and is available both in-person and via live broadcast.

Conference Programme

The two-day technical programme covers system-level NVH challenges that span powertrain, structure, control and perception domains. Key topics include:

  • Why NVH has become a system engineering challenge
  • Electromagnetic excitation and electric motor NVH
  • Structural dynamics and torsional vibration in e-powertrains
  • Virtual NVH prototyping for early-phase design decisions
  • NVH integration in modular and scalable e-drive architectures
  • Smart mounts and isolation systems for EVs and HEVs
  • HEV NVH challenges: mode transition and multi-source excitation
  • Battery pack as a structural NVH component
  • Active NVH control strategies for EVs and HEVs
  • Panel discussion: system-level NVH versus component-focused approaches

Industry-led case studies will be drawn from OEMs including Volkswagen, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Stellantis and Ford Otosan. Confirmed speakers include Alexandru Paun, Lead NVH System Test Engineer at Valeo; Usama Munir, System Team Leader at Valeo; Evan Harry, Team Leader for Acoustic Methodology and Simulation at Adler Pelzer Group; Francesco Trainotti, Co-founder and Managing Director of Inventum Engineering Solutions; and Nima Şafak, Vehicle and Body NVH Team Lead at Ford Otosan.

In-person delegates receive full video recordings of the summit following the event. Online attendees access speaker slides and digital handouts where permitted.
