Chapter Event Safety & Sensors will take place ONLINE on 2 December 2021.
The Autonomous and LeddarTech are hosting a virtual Chapter Event on the topic of Safety & Sensors for autonomous systems. A stellar lineup of partners will come together to explore the ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems) and AD (autonomous driving) automotive landscape, the challenges and the emerging technologies. As this landscape evolves, automakers realize that their specific design requirements often call for a more open, flexible, and scalable sensing platform that accommodates various sensor options.
Additionally, advanced driver assistance systems are rapidly becoming more and more sophisticated through advancements in obstacle detection and classification that identify and correct driver errors, thus reducing collisions and injuries. Therefore, the focus of this event will be to explore the key benefits of a sensing platform approach as opposed to a black-box solution in addressing ADAS and AD requirements across the value chain.
