Aurrigo has announced a major expansion with the move to a brand-new UK manufacturing and engineering facility.
The UK Hub, which measures 130,615 square feet, is situated on Power Park in Coventry, and will serve as the company’s main nerve centre for advanced engineering, autonomous vehicle development, high-volume manufacturing and ongoing automotive activities.

This expansion is planned to support the company’s recently announced international hub and licensing programme launch, which is set to accelerate its global commercialisation strategy by seeking local relationships, funding and manufacturing support across Europe, the Middle East, South East Asia and the US, as well as support the delivery of a 6.28 million GBP contract with Ultra Global for the supply of 25 autonomous guided vehicles
Production of autonomous vehicles will begin on-site within the coming months, with full capacity believed to peak at the manufacturing of more than 500 units per year – subject to customer demand.
Prof. David Keene MBE, Chief Executive Officer of Aurrigo International plc, said:This new Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Centre marks an important milestone for our business and our unwavering commitment to the UK, delivering investment in autonomous technology.
It significantly enhances our manufacturing and engineering capability, provides the capacity to scale in line with demand, and underpins our ambition to build a sustainable, capital-efficient
platform for long-term growth.
Secured with turnkey infrastructure in place; the premises is fully equipped with IT systems, fully fitted offices, EV charging infrastructure and manufacturing facilities, allowing for a rapid ramp-up of operations. The site will also allow Aurrigo to utilise an on-site autonomous vehicle test track, which will in turn support in-house validation, customer demonstrations, and accelerated development cycles.
