Archer Aviation has unveiled plans for a set of three air taxi networks serving Austin, Dallas–Fort Worth and Houston with the goal of increasing connectivity between major airports, business districts, and coastal destinations across the region.
Home to over 20 million people, as well as a number of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas across the US; The Texas Triangle is set to receive a set of Archer air taxi networks designed to give Texans an alternative to traffic with the all-electric Midnight air taxi.

Adam Goldstein, Founder and CEO of Archer Aviation, said:Texas is setting the bar for America’s leadership in the next generation of aviation.
Our planned networks will make the benefits of electric air taxis real for Texans — trading hours in traffic for minutes in the air, while connecting the biggest airports, business districts and sporting hubs in ways that America’s largest megaregion needs to grow.
Starting in Dallas–Fort Worth; Archer’s planned network will aim to connect major airports including Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, Dallas Love Field, Addison Airport, Arlington Municipal Airport, Fort Worth Meacham International Airport and Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport with major business hubs like Frisco Station.
The 242-acre mixed-use development surrounds The Star, the Dallas Cowboys’s world headquarters, and features Class AA office space, residential communities, hotels and a growing Health and Wellness district.
Ross Perot Jr., chairman of Hillwood and The Perot Companies, said:Our success and growth across North Texas have long been rooted in aviation and innovation, as reflected in AllianceTexas and our long-term vision for Frisco Station.
With Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport and Frisco Station identified as planned route locations, Archer’s proposed network offers an opportunity to create new connections between the region’s airports and major business destinations. Hillwood is committed to advancing the infrastructure and partnerships needed to move this next generation of aircraft from development and testing into service in Texas.
In Houston, Archer’s air taxi network will seek to link the city’s major airports, such as George Bush Intercontinental Airport, William P. Hobby Airport, and Sugar Land Regional Airport, with the Thompson Hotel Helipad downtown and Galveston, reducing an hour-plus drive from the city’s core to the coast into a short flight.
Finally, in Austin, Archer’s network will connect major airports like Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and Austin Executive Airport to notable locations around the city.
The announcement of the networks follows the completion of Archer’s Northern Californian leg of its ‘No Roads’ flight tour, which saw the company conduct a series of flight tests over the San Francisco Bay. Flying into seven cities during a three day period, Archer aimed to provide the public with a look at its all-electric Midnight air taxi, as well as demonstrate the aircraft’s ability to integrate into complex urban airspace.
Archer has stated that Midnight’s next flight will take place in Los Angeles in preparation for LA28 and ahead of planned operations in Texas under the White House’s eVTOL Integration Pilot Program (eIPP). Midnight will also be on display at the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix from October 22–25 2026.
