Archer Aviation has announced the selection of Bristol as the home for its new UK Engineering Hub, which is set to support a number of the company’s future engineering initiatives across both its commercial and defence programmes.
Initially announced in December 2025; Archer’s new UK hub has thus far received a large number of applications from hopeful engineers, with the company stating that Bristol offers an ‘ideal location’.

Archer intends to utilise its local workforce to help drive its collaboration with Anduril UK and GKN, which will initially be focused on the companies’ joint work in support of uncrewed vehicle programs in the UK.
Adam Goldstein, CEO and founder of Archer, said:We want to hire the best engineers the UK has to offer.
Bristol has a strong industrial base and a deep talent pool that makes that possible. This market is a big area of focus for us moving forward and our UK hub will be our home base.
