Amazon has opened its first micromobility hub in Northern Ireland at a delivery station in Belfast’s Titanic Quarter.
The hub has introduced a fleet of electric cargo bikes set to deliver thousands of packages per week as part of a new 300 million GBP investment into the electrification and decarbonisation of Amazon’s delivery network.
With its opening, Belfast joins over 40 cities throughout the UK and Europe to have opened Amazon micromobility hubs in an effort to reduce carbon emissions.

This is a proud moment for our team, and great news for customers across the city who will benefit from zero emissions deliveries to their door.
Amazon, both a co-founder of and the first signatory to The Climate Pledge, currently has over 1,000 electric delivery vans operating throughout across the UK and Ireland, as well as a further nine electric heavy goods vehicles.
